QUINOA OAT BOWLS

INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup of quinoa

1/4 oats

1/4 cup of buckweat

1/4 cup of millet

1/2 tbsp of sunflower seeds

1/2 tbsp of chia seeds

1 1/2 cup of fresh almond milk

METHOD

 

  • Rinse the porridge mix in a mesh sieve.

  • Place in a small saucepan with 4 cups of water, bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and simmer, covered for about 20 minutes, until the grains are tender.

  • Add some almond milk to taste.

  • For a sweet version, add maple syrup and fruit of your choice, such as pear, pommegranate and nuts.

  • For a savoury version, top with sliced avocado and a poached egg, with salt, pepper & paprika.
