That is the idea that ALT. MILK was built on - that almond milk should be just as delicious as if you made it in your kitchen.

We set out to challenge the British dairy free industry with a modern & high quality product.

 

Raising the alternative milk standards, our almond milk is made fresh weekly, using cold pressed technology and packed with almonds. 

HISTORICAL BEGINNINGS

Far from a current trend and diet fad, almond milk goes as far back as the Middle Ages, where it was consumed during Lent.

 

Fast track to 2015, Rachel who had been lactose intolerant since childhood, started making her own almond milk in her kitchen.

 

The recipe for ALT. MILK was on its way...

TASTE THE DIFFERENCE

Other almond milk brands only use 2% to 7% almonds. 


We have perfected our recipe over time to settle at 15% almonds. 

 

We believe this delivers an almond milk that tastes truly delicious, but also has a creamier consistency.

 

THE PROCESS

We produce our almond milk in Yorkshire, and use cold press technology to ensure a high quality and smooth blend.

 

We choose to keep away from pasteurisation, simply because fresh almond milk tastes much better.

 

We then give our almond leftover to local farms as food for their cows!
